The Kappa Delta Sorority House at the University of Illinois is the first new sorority house at the University of Illinois campus in almost 50 years. It is located in an urban downtown district of Champaign and houses 62 members, with meeting spaces for the 160-member chapter. The house has a two-story entry foyer; formal spaces; multiple study, education and social areas; a commercial kitchen and dedicated dining room; and a separate chapter room for meetings. The brick and limestone structure, with an outdoor courtyard, ties in to the university’s campus architecture.
